![]() ![]() Needs to run through Adrenaline, Some stutters, Average compatibilty. Loving this on my steam directly, I was just starting setting up RA on my PC and using a rom manager to add it to big picture mode. This is so much nicer! One problem I'm running into with MGBA and Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga is a lot of choppy audio. The game plays fine, no video lag or anything. Only change I made to the system was auto saving turned on, but it seems turning that off still doesn't resolve the issue.I finally got around to play Mother 1+2 (J) with Tomato's english patch. The game works flawlessly in mGBA 0.4.0, however, there is tiny stutter every second when I move. It is happening on other games as well, such as Super Mario Advance. pEMU is a suite of multiple emulators running on the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. It also appears on VBA 1.8, VBA-M 1.8, latest VBA-M 2.0 beta and higan097. NESTOPIA NO SOUND FULLYou can change the sound, play in full screen and alter the game input devices such as SNES. PNES (portable NES) is a NES emulator based on Nestopia. The stuttering happens the moment the RAM consumption drops. pSNES (portable SNES) is a Super NES emulator based on Snes9x. I have not yet got around to trying No$ or iDeaS. I was wondering if this is some kind of issue with my particular machine or some general GBA emulation or OpenGL issue? In Nestopia, playing the NES version of Mother, this issue is not present, but Tomato's translation isn't present for the NES version either. Here is two reddit threads I managed to search online which I assume describe the same issue: Unfortunately, I do not currently have access to a second computer to test with. It would appear from the explanation provided on that first link, that perhaps this issue is something that is intrinsic to GBA emulation and there is nothing that can be done for now? If that is the case, I can certainly live with it. NESTOPIA NO SOUND DRIVERWhat I already have tried: look for updated driver for the manufacturer website (I had the newest), mess with the emulators' audio/video settings, disconnected second display (I have had programs in the past that did not like multiple displays for some reason), no dice. NESTOPIA NO SOUND HOW TOSo I've run into this issue upon reaching chapter 12 and have no idea how to fix it. If anyone has more suggestions, I am all ears. None of the settings has any effect on the audio stutter, and my specs are alright for this game. ![]() NESTOPIA NO SOUND 720PWHY!?!?!) i was really hopefully when i saw that you could specify Nestopia to build for dual core machines, but alas, it only uses 50% of my processor, and there are minor issue with visually annoying frame skips.I have all the settings on low and at 720p just to be sure it's not an issue with specs. ![]() The curious thing is that it also will run my CPU to 95%, while all the others only go to 50% (they will only use a single logical core. but i've been kinda dissapointed except for ZSNES, which is the only one that will run games at full speed w no choppiness whatsoever. I figured with my current computer, a netbook running an Atom N280 clocked at 1.66 ghz +hyperthreading, my computer should run these emulator just fine, even with the intel integrated graphics. It would run emulators up to ZSNES and Kega perfectly. I remember as a kid playing emulators on a box running windows 98 with a 800mhz Pentium III CPU, and i can't really think if there was a discrete GPU or not, but thinking about it, i don't think so. It seems with about every single emulator i've tried with my computer, the perfomance isn t nearly what i think it oughtta be. ![]()
